Eating your memories...

I many years ago had this for dinner and it has always been a favorite of mine well tonight I had to make it for myself just to enjoy it one more time...and I must say crowd pleasing...I made minute steak with grilled onions and topped off with home made chimichurri I also made my sauteed brussels sprouts and baked potatoes with butter garlic and dill...yuuuuuummmmy!  I hope you all brought your appetite cause tonights dinner is going to make you hungry...So lets get started and see how it was made and remember if you have any ideas for me send me an email to evilchiapet@live.com I hope to hear from you guys....and soon!

As you can see here it looks like 2 pieces of steak no it was one really long steak wouldnt fit into my frying pan so I cut it in half...lol I seasoned it with a little salt and pepper then in the pan I added some e.v.o.o. and some diced onion and started cooking the onions until they started to caramelize then i threw one piece of the steak on seasoning the back side (remember there are 2 sides to meat why do you only season one side?) also with salt and pepper...cooking till done and doing the same to the second piece with the caramelized onions i kind of made a sandwich out of them between the 2 slices of meat then I topped with my home made chimichurri which is also simple and easy I diced onion garlic and cilantro added some e.v.o.o and some red wine vinegar and some salt and pepper...and just spooned it over it can be very potent tasting so be careful how much you use unless you LOVE the stuff like me...

The baked potatoes are always simple and easy well for some but here is my trick for a good potato...make sure its clean you do  not want to bite into a baked potato and get a mouth full of dirt, poke holes in it all around not 1 or 2 but a few holes i put about 7 to 10 in each of mine...Then I put them in the microwave for 10 minute...yes I use the microwave to make baked potatoes...I added butter to them as they came out a little salt pepper garlic powder and my signature sprinkle of dill....I HAVE to have Dill on my potatoes it makes them so delicious and WOW!  were they ever!

Now, for this my Brussels Sprouts these I am sure a lot of you do not like but I happen to love and this is why..I diced onion and garlic, my trick was bacon while cooking the onions and garlic I added the bacon some salt and pepper then i tossed in the Brussels Sprouts and sauteed them till cooked fully...As you can see WOW!  This is a side dish that even Iron Chef Bobby Flay should have on his menu...its is delicious and something that I think the masses should enjoy...So this is my dinner for tonight, What did you have?  I hope all of your meals are as delicious as mine...I have been working on my baking skills so I had one of my Enchanted Black Forest Cupcakes which were AMAZING once again!  LOL  So my advice to you is keep cooking what makes you happy and puts your soul at ease...its how you should live your life...Why eat cardboard when this stuff is so much better?!?!?!?

So my avid readers and amazing friends, until next time...

Peace Love and Chicken Grease!!!!
